Pastors Praying for Revival
One of the constant factors in revival is prayer. In 1904, Evan Roberts prayed, "Bend the Church, save the world!" As that prayer began to ring out through communities and churches and in the hearts of believers across Wales, the Spirit of God began to move and indeed bend the Church! Oh how we long for the sweeping movement of God's power in our churches today.
We believe God desires to pour out His Spirit in revival all across this land. We also believe that God's people need to put into practice loving one another and maintaining the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace. Disunity in the Church hinders revival and hampers Kingdom work.
Our burden is to see pastors throughout our community coming together praying for revival. If our pastors come together seeking God, then our churches will follow and our community will see a unified church that reaches across denominational, economic and racial bounds for the glory of Jesus Christ.
A Call to Pastors
Will you join with a group of pastors
to pray for revival?
Praying for revival is the most basic prayer but seems to be one of the least prayed. When we meet for prayer there is no hidden agenda, no doctrinal or denominational focus, just simply a time for fellow pastors to pray with and for each other and to pray for God to work and move among His people for His Glory!
Something to think about...
How would your church be different after
experiencing the following results of revival?
Love for God is restored
Desire for God's Word , prayer, worship, and obedience
Conflicts resolved through forgiveness and reconciliation
Marriages and families restored
Bitterness, fear and worry removed
Our spirit refreshed by the Holy Spirit
Lives are reformed with God as our focus and desire
